I have never been in therapy before. where do i begin?

We will work together to shape your therapy plan. Follow the steps laid out on the services page, starting by scheduling a phone consultation.

I have been in therapy before but it didn’t work for me. How will this be different?

Therapeutic fit is unique to each individual and pair, just like any important relationship. It’s ok to prefer certain therapists, and to tell your current or future therapist what is working or not working for you. If we meet together I encourage you to share about these experiences with me so that I can be most helpful.

Are our conversations confidential?

Our conversations are confidential, subject to certain legal requirements to disclose in cases of a risk of lethal harm to yourself or to someone else, child abuse, or elder abuse. In such cases, I make every effort to disclose in collaboration with my client. Some insurance plans may also require limited periodic clinical notes.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans, and will work with you to maximize your out-of-network coverage reimbursement. Below are some questions to ask your provider:

  • Does my plan include mental health benefits and do I need preauthorization to access those benefits?

  • What is the deductible under my plan and has part or all of it been satisfied?

  • What percentage of the cost of treatment will be my responsibility once my deductible has been met?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions my plan will cover?

I am not currently in-network with any insurance plans.

what methods of payment do you accept?

I accept Venmo or Zelle. Please let me know if you need to make alternate arrangements for payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please contact me to reschedule or cancel 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations beyond this point, outside of medical emergencies, will still be charged your full fee.
